Britney rushed to hospital, souces say she’s on horse drugs

The first major celeb story of 2008 broke on Thursday when medics and police officers were summoned to the home of Britney Spears following a custody dispute at the star’s home. Reports say that Spears refused to hand over her children to the bodyguards of ex-hub Kevin Federline, instead locking herself in the bathroom with the two boys. Police say she appeared to be “under the influence of an unknown substance” and today’s Sun (UK) claims Brit has been taking a narcotic called Clenbuterol -  which is designed to make race horses leaner.

Britney, bound by the ankles and wrists, had to be stretchered from her home to an ambulance, where she both smiled at and flipped off the paparazzi. Meanwhile, K-Fed has obtained sole custody of the two children Sean Preston and Jayden James, while Britney remains in Cedars Sinai Hospital.
