Tributes for Katy French; post mortem carried out

The State Pathologist in Ireland has carried out a post mortem on the body of Katy French.

The 24 year old model, who died last night after spending 5 days in a coma in the arms of her sister Jill collapsed at a friend’s house in Navan, County Meath.

Friends took her to hospital in a private car, an ambulance was reportedly not requested.

Reports suggest that it will be several days before a toxicology report is returned. This will reveal if drugs were a factor in Ms. French’s untimely death.

Meanwhile, Katy’s friends have been paying their tributes to her on social networking site Bebo.

Former Miss World Rosanna Davison posted on her page: “RIP Katy…..life is so cruel, you will be hugely missed.”

Bg Brother 4 runner up Ray Shah has also paid tribute and said “My thoughts are with her family and friends.” DJ Nikki Hayes posted: “RIP Katy French - what a waste of a beautiful life x”
